Fiorano Modenese (Modena) – It is nature once again which is the inspiration behind the creative vision of Laminam: the company will be wowing attendees of the 65th Salone del Mobile in Milan with revolutionary, original and versatile ceramic surfaces.
Nature designs, Laminam creates, broadening the horizons of architects and designers by further expanding one of the most extensive ranges in the sector – thicknesses, surfaces and the new DNA finish – to mold unique spaces, where residents can live well and be themselves.
twO by Laminam and the curvature of water
The drop falls and meets the ground, caressing and surrounding it. It adapts, expands, following all its shapes and forms. It fills the spaces, slides on the surfaces, insinuating itself into cavities with spontaneous grace. It is soft and enveloping, yet decisive in its route. Just like the twO by Laminam surfaces, the revolutionary thinnest ceramic slabs in the world, light and ductile, able to perfectly adapt to any environment and enhance the structure without altering its essence. Like water, twO is pure versatility. It molds with the space, embracing and following its shapes and forms with precision and harmony, transforming the surfaces gracefully, effortlessly, without interruption. It is the perfect balance between form and function, aesthetics and practicality.
With the development of twO, Laminam’s tireless technical research and pioneering application know-how mark a genuine turning point in the world of ceramic surfaces. The technology sublimates, expressing itself creatively and putting sustainability at the forefront: the very slim format – just 2 mm thick – allows less raw material to be used along with optimization of the entire product life cycle.
New expressive potential
The Slate collection, an homage to the splendor of natural materials and their existential dialog with the light which floods into spaces, will be presented at the Salone del Mobile in an expanded range. Added to the 2 and 5 millimeter thickness configurations, indeed, is the 12 millimeter format, suitable for kitchen countertops and tables. The following collections have also been expanded: I Naturali with Calacatta Viola Book Match in 12 mm, Diamond with Cristallo Macchia Vecchia Book Match in 12 mm, and the Hado collection, with Travertino Bianco Bush-Hammered in 5 mm thickness. This expansion of the Laminam range offers new influences for the creativity and imagination of architects and designers: the possible combinations maintaining textural and color continuity between vertical and horizontal surfaces are ever more extensive.
DNA: the secret textural code
DNA is the finish which modifies the structure of the slab itself to reproduce the dynamic movement and force of nature ever more faithfully. With spontaneous grace, DNA impresses a unique code in each surface, creating a snapshot of it in its full potential. The slabs with DNA finish feature a delicate yet decisive relief which follows the graphic design of original irregularities, translating them into a distinctive design element. A soft, yet at the same time virtuous and undaunted feature, which emerges with powerful elegance from the surface, providing it with a new dimension. At the Salone del Mobile, Laminam will be presenting the Taj Mahal surface in 12 millimeters in the DNA finish. A fully fledged invitation to follow the sinuous light brown, beige, and white veins which come together in a single, sophisticated and balanced chromatic flow.
Laminam at the Fuori Salone
Not just the Salone. During Milan Design Week, Laminam will be opening the doors of its refurbished showroom in the heart of the northern Italian city. Here, visitors will be able to get a hands-on experience of the visionary concept kitchen designed by Andrea Federici featuring “total look” Gemini Acero, the progenitor of the twO by Laminam brand.
The Laminam showroom is at Via Giuseppe Verdi 5, Milan.
