Laminam officially launches at Cersaie-2024 the new Slate Series, part of the twO by Laminam Collection, the world’s thinnest slab surface.

Toronto, ON. (September 23, 2024) – Laminam, a global leader in porcelain surfaces, will highlight extraordinary surface aesthetics and their new innovative 2mm thick surfaces within the twO Collection during Cersaie, the international ceramic and tile show taking place from September 23-27 at Fiere Exhibition Center, in Bologna. The stand, located on Hall 30 – Stand C52 / D51, will showcase a variety of new surfaces, including the recently launched Automobili Lamborghini Surfaces, the Gemini Series, and the new addition to the twO Collection – the Slate Series.

Two millimeters to change the world of design

Laminam’s tireless technological research has led the way to a never-before-seen innovation – a ceramic surface of just 2 mm thickness, which is now patent-pending. This revolutionary new format sets the company apart from the rest of the ceramic surfaces market. The slabs of twO by Laminam line feature a three-dimensional structure that is it extremely thin and light. It is a choice that prioritizes sustainability because the 2mm thick format uses less raw material and has been optimized for the entire product life cycle, with a positive environmental impact throughout the production chain.

The Slate Series: five colors for a design wedded to simplistic luxury

The Slate Series unveils its most authentic features thanks to a sophisticated, technologically advanced surface format in 2mm and 5mm thicknesses, perfectly balanced between chromatic intensity and minimalistic elegance. The new bold colors featured in the series include Alaska, Amazzonia, Ankara, Burgundy and Vulcano, all drawing inspiration from nature’s beautiful array of colors and textures.

New design possibilities from the Gemini Series

After the success encountered at Salone del Mobile 2024, Laminam’s creative momentum continues, expanding Gemini’s range of applications. Five colours in the series, Acero, Muschio, Pelle, Luce and Grano, are now available in the full-size format of 1620×3240 mm and a 12+ thickness. As well as being ideal for use on walls, the Gemini Series can also be used for interior design and furnishing features such as tables, kitchen and bathroom countertops.

Among the innovations involving the twO Collection’s Gemini Series of surfaces, the company is offering a brand-new modular decorative element, called Keyboard, available in seven colors in a 333 x 200 mm format. Keyboard completes Laminam’s offering as a technical and aesthetic option for architecture and design (kitchen walls, bathrooms, showers, backsplashes, door and drawer fronts). The name derives from the combination of very thin 30 x 200 mm strips reminiscent of a piano keyboard.

Further expansions will also be featured, including Calacatta Viola from the I Naturali Collection, a surface which captures the essence of marble with purple veining that weaves together in an interplay of forms and hues. Finally, the Diamond Series is rounded off with the Cristallo Macchia Vecchia shade, now also available in a Natural finish.
