From the initial concept design through to the completion of the project, we are in a position to provide our customers with qualified and professional technical support, thanks not only to the studies conducted on the material but also on the lengthy experience accrued following multiple achievements all over the globe.
Specialised advice to each customer
What we are sure about is that nobody knows a product better than the company that designed it. That’s why we created the Project Engineering division: a company department comprising a team of engineers and expert architects capable of providing every customer with a specialist and customized consultancy, providing their in-depth knowledge of both the materials and the application possibilities afforded by large Laminam surfaces.
The aim of the Project Engineering division is to ensure the project constitutes the meeting point between an extensive range of colors and finishes and the satisfaction of having made the best choice for the application the designer had imagined.
What sets us apart is that we aim to be the supplier of a semi-finished product, leaving the customer, contractor or designer the freedom to apply the material according to the most suitable systems for the project at hand, used and regulated in the reference country. But that’s not all. As is the case for natural stones and glass, Laminam can be applied using several types of sub-structures, which the designer can choose according to the performance levels, availability on the market, supplier preference and the cost itself.
Exterior Façade Consulting
The Project Engineering division is in a position to offer consulting services to the stakeholders in the façade construction project.
Specifically, we check with the customer and with the designer to see which systems are available in the country in question, the availability of the materials and the fitters necessary. We can then suggest the most appropriate solution for the application of the Laminam slabs depending on a preliminary project analysis (type of substrate, type of building, desired layout, etc.).
Our support also proves useful:
- When defining the architectural layout;
- During the development of installation schemes to identify the size which ensures the fewest scraps (less waste and thus optimized costs);
- For cost optimization and budget compliance;
- To provide the fitter with assistance concerning the installation of the system identified;
- In the partnership with companies providing the application systems present in various countries in order to identify appropriate products for using Laminam slabs;
- To provide support in obtaining local certifications for the installation of the material on the façade.
Using specific tests, we can provide the wind and impact resistance values of the slab according to the various application systems, thanks to which the designer, depending on the performance requests of each individual project, can size the sub-structure correctly.
In order further to investigate the behavior of our products, we develop real-size mock-ups to be tested at certified laboratories, in order to check the static behavior of the slab in specific applications.

Laminam is produced 100% with natural raw materials that contain up to 60% recycled material, and it is therefore the right choice for designers who care about the origin and sustainability of the materials they use in their projects.
